I sought out Thomas for help with chronic knee pain and to optimize my exercise program. I've seen great improvement in a short amount of time thanks to his expertise. Thomas was exceptionally helpful and inquisitive, asking the right questions to get to the root of my issues. He provided a clear, effective plan that has dramatically reduced my pain and improved my strength and form. I highly recommend his services.
Charlélie is amazing. I’ve had back pains for over a year and went to other physios before, but only Charlélie’s approach made a massive difference. He was very careful to understand exactly the problem, gave me a routine to follow at home, and was always very kind and helpful during the session. I recommend him 100%.
Thank you Thomas Maeseele and PhysioBxl. I went in for treatment on my lower back (1st time) and ankle (2nd time), and Thomas’s expertise in sports rehabilitation and Manual Therapy made a noticeable difference. His approach is both professional and attentive, making sure to address the root cause of the pain while providing exercises and techniques for long-term relief.
I went to PhysioBxl for a calf injury caused when I was skiiing. I found Thomas' approach excellent. He's very professional and enthusiastic and takes the time to give explanations about the way the body works. He also gave me a lot of good advice about exercising in general, which is very useful. He kept up contact during the confinement period and after every session I received an email with a link to a platform with the exercises we had covered, and more besides. This was useful for remembering what we had done during the sessions. I would definitely recommend him.
Short: Although Thomas seems professional, I didn't feel treated fairly. The team does not have the same education and certificates, so they cannot provide the same tools to work on the patients Complete: I have an injury on my lower back. So I scheduled an appointment by phone with Thomas a few weeks in advance, to only find out one day before that I was going to have my appointment with another college. Thomas explained that they work with the same methodology, so I was fine. I have been training for a long time, so I kind of know my injures and I was already doing some physiotherapy on my own. During the appointment the physiotherapist was friendly and had a look shortly at my back, however we spent most of the time talking about the injury and how I was already treating by myself. Normally that would be fine, but there was no new information about it, and they recommended to keep doing what I was already doing, nothing else. I showed them also that I had been doing some "self adjustment" that it was helping, but my intention was to go there to be "adjusted", as Thomas is certified and that would be much more effective. (Manual therapy as it is described on the website) To my surprise the professional was "just" a physio (I am not sure about other qualifications), and could not help me other than physio exercises and massage. I was fully charged, 42 euros for the first session. The consecutives are 28 euros (if I am not mistaken). my main complaints are: - I did not know I was going to be treated with someone else, I spoke directly with Thomas to schedule the appointment, I feel this should be made very clear. - Allegedly, they work the same methodology, but they don't have the same education and certificates - After the appointment, I had no new information about my injury, no new recommendations and the treatment I was hoping to have access to (e.g. manual therapy) was not possible.
