Very attentive gynecologist with a very friendly receptionist welcoming you every time. They both speak very good English, but they ask me if I prefer Dutch or English before our conversation. Location is quite residential, you can always find parking on the street.
1 hour waiting without any explanation and in the end the doctor didn't even show up. Very bad service and not professional at all. Do not recommend

I'll never go back to Dr. Pastijn! I faithfully went to her for a checkup every year. When my partner and I wanted to have children and it didn't work out, she kept stringing us along. "Just try again, your vaginal flora and fauna are disturbed. I'll prescribe you vaginal contraceptives, etc." When she was absent in 2019, we decided not to wait and made an appointment elsewhere. At the University Hospital Leuven, advanced endometriosis was diagnosed immediately on the first ultrasound. I underwent seven hours of surgery to remove all the adhesions. Because I hadn't seen this for years, the adhesions had already spread to my colon. 10 cm of colon was removed, and I lost an ovary. The night after the surgery, I experienced bleeding, and it turned out I had a leak in the sutures of my colon. I was put back under general anesthesia and given a temporary stoma. After a few months, a check-up revealed that my vagina hadn't healed properly on the inside and that I had a vaginal fistula. So, back to surgery. After six months, my stoma was removed, and I could begin my recovery. In January 2020, my boyfriend and I began insemination and later IVF. All these years later, I have a healthy four-year-old daughter by my side, but I blame everything I've been through on Dr. Pastijn. She saw me every year and should have seen/diagnosed this! For years, I toyed with sharing this with her to make sure it wouldn't happen again. At times, I could let it go, and at other times, I couldn't. Today, I decided to write it down and warn people about it. Are you experiencing menstrual discomfort, pain during sex, or having trouble getting pregnant? Go somewhere else for a second opinion and don't rely on her judgment!
