I consulted this cardio in 2017 on the recommendation of my general practitioner for atrial fibrillations. He sent me to do a pulmonary syntigraphy in St Jean; It turned out I had a pulmonary embolism (3 blood clots in my left lung). He called me to tell me what medications I should take, and asked to receive my cancer file. When I asked him if I should see him again, he told me that it was not necessary. In other words, no follow-up. Fortunately I was a patient at CHU St Pierre, who took care of me…. No, I do not recommend this cardiologist. Unless you want to die quickly.
A top-notch cardiologist. He certainly does a lot from behind his desk, but everyone has their own profession, their own approach, and his is top-notch. I visited him after some unprecedented situations at the University Hospital, and thanks to his efforts, everything was handled very smoothly and quickly. The surgery went smoothly, we received the necessary follow-up, and we're still doing well, so a big thumbs up to Koen Erard and his colleagues.
Very attentive doctor. Friendly and very professional. I had heart pain, he did an electrocardiogram (he wasn't next to me, since the result was displayed on his computer screen), an ultrasound and a stress test. 7 days later, I had a coronary angiography at the St. Jean clinic. He took very good care of me. And the clinic staff was great. Thank you, Doctor.
An excellent doctor, he is truly attentive and a good listener. A great professional in cardiology! Well done, Doctor!
I strongly advise against going there. While he remained seated behind his desk and you lay on his table to perform an electrocardiogram, he didn't examine you. He didn't even get up to perform the electrocardiogram and told you everything was fine, that we'd see each other again in a year. And to top it all off, he sent a report to your general practitioner and your blood pressure readings, even though he hadn't done anything. If you asked him for the Holter monitor tracing, there was no answer, no tracing. Sorry, he sent a copy of a man's tracing, even though I'm a woman. DANGER!
