If I could give more than 5 stars to Dr Lan and Dr Daxhelet I would. They were both extremely thorough, professional and considerate. They explained carefully, answered questions and did not rush. Dr Daxhelet’s stitches were also very neat. And the receptionists were also polite, thorough and considerate too. I really recommend them!
I have had laser removal of spiderveins before in other countries without any adverse effects, but my experience at the Brussels Skin Centre was very different. In April I had the second treatment for spiderveins on my legs there, with their alleged 'laser specialist'. The first visit had gone ok, but this time I was left with bruising that is still there now, in November. Probably because of too high a setting of the laser. Needless to say, I will never set foot in this clinic again, and I cannot in good faith recommend it.
I visited doctor Cedric Verhulst to check corns on my feet. Without explaining anything, doctor instantly took tools to do freezing of corns in order to remove them. Since I knew from before that this method has a chance of leaving hypopigmentation, I explicitely asked if that is a possible risk and doctor answered 'No'. So I let him do it. But after the treatment, when reading online, it confirmed that this method does have higher chance to leave hypopigmentation, even permanent. This is common knowledge. I highly regret letting him do the intervention. I would definitely NOT recommend this doctor to anyone!
It might be a good clinic but I waited a very long time after my appointment time, and ultimately left (given that appointments are during working hours and patients cannot wait indefinitely as they also have work). There was no update on when I will be received. If the delay was due to giving another patient more time, then there is an issue with scheduling - the reception needs to take less appointments. I paid 40 eur for Uber there and back for nothing and had to take leave from work.
Visited that center a couple of years ago : waited 45 min+ with no prior warning of such delay or explanation as to why nore any attention/reassurance whatsoever. Had another appointment to go to so got rather stressed and the receptionist told me to leave if it was a problem for me to wait longer. I should have gone but having waited so long decided to stay on.. She was the rudest ever - I was gobsmacked. The dermatologist was even worse : she could not identify my skin problem and told me to go home and apply hydrating lotion. That interesting info cost me a lot of €'s , time and nerves. Not least disrespect. I should have refused to pay but was weakened by shock so just did unfortunately. I just have not forgotten that horrendous service & diagnose&treatment and just remembered to post a comment which i should have done earlier. I dislike remembering such bad experiences . I do not recall the names of the above two persons either and I am certainly not interested in memorizing them. Thank you for reading this rather negative review but wanted to express my experience. A wonderful autumn to all.
