I go here often because it is close to my office. I don't think a lot of the reviews here are very fair. Yes, the owners are of a certain age, and they move a bit slower. But they have always been friendly to me and I respect the fact that they are still running their business at this age. Be a little patient with the elderly.
Because this pharmacy is so close to my home, I've always preferred it. However, the fact that the staff are extremely elderly makes it impossible to receive proper service here. They clearly have difficulty communicating, don't understand what's being said, and can't follow instructions correctly. Due to their severely limited mobility and noticeable forgetfulness, medication procedures often get messed up. Even the price calculations are sometimes incorrect. In a sector that deals with vital medication, this level of attention and competence is unacceptable.
Treated very poorly by Ms. Karin Bouvy. I don't recommend this pharmacy to anyone. They should shut it down. On top of that, they pester you with reviews.

Arrived Monday evening at 6:59 PM. I needed four prescribed items. It took forever to find all the medication, and then it took forever again to scan everything. When I printed the receipt, it turned out that one item wasn't scanned and another was duplicated. After trying for ages, re-entering the information at the cash register ultimately failed. So, we'll write it down manually and calculate it that way. At checkout, I asked for proof of card payment, but that wasn't possible. I left at 7:25 PM. This was for four prescribed items! I completely understand the elderly, and hats off to them for still being in the store. I don't mind things being a bit slower, but this was simply excessive! Dear Karin Bovy, Thank you very much for your response to my review. However, I find it very rude of you to bring up a Facebook post from 2020, which you then misinterpreted. I worked in elderly care at the time, and I saw some harrowing things. So you don't have to paint me as blaming the elderly. However, the hospitality industry was closed and mandatory face masks were in effect. Hence my post, and a member of parliament responded to it to address this. I completely understand the computer problems. But picking up prescribed medication 26 minutes before 4 is really long, isn't it?! Thank you so much for responding and publicly portraying me as someone who's against the elderly. You won't see us again! 😉
