I went to the pharmacy to buy Vichy’s anti-dandruff shampoo. First of all, the products were placed under the wrong shelves, so the prices displayed did not match the actual items. I had been buying this product for around 16 euros for months. On the shelf, I saw a label showing 15 euros crossed out and 12 euros written instead. Thinking there was a discount, I decided to buy it. At the cashier, I paid without paying close attention because I was on the phone. When I later checked the receipt, I saw that I had been charged 22 EUROS. How can there be such a huge price difference? When I told the pharmacist that I wanted to return it, her attitude completely changed. I explained that I bought it because I saw 12 euros on the label. She responded, “You couldn’t buy a product of this size for 12 euros.” I said that I had bought it for 15 euros at Medimarket before. She replied rudely, “Then you should go and buy it there.” She gave me my money back. I honestly don’t know what surprised me more the incorrect pricing, the massive price difference, or the extremely unprofessional attitude. Very disappointing experience.
My wife once bought a skin cream from them. After using it for one and a half month, she found that the cream was expired after 14 days from the purchase date. I went back to the pharmacy and we were lucky to still have the receipt of the purchase. The staff asked me to come the next day until she asks her boss what to do. On the next day, she gave me a new one with an expiration date after two years. What is annoying is that they made me feel like it was our mistake not theirs. They even didn’t apologise for once and instead the staff kept saying this is weird.
The rude bald guy gave me the wrong medicine, then when I got back to asked for refund, he put on a shitty face immediately saying they can't get the medicine back. Fraud? clerk first read the note wrong then refused to refund the item although we didn't even open it.
The people working there are some of the most friendly people I've met! They recommended me some vitamins that I swear got me through the exams.
My go-to pharmacy in Leuven. The pharmacists are very friendly and the prices of most items are much cheaper than other pharmacies. :)
