Poor care and under staffed. Not attentive to patients needs and less concerned with keeping the family members of the hospitalized well informed on care options. Highly recommend going to Ghent.
Hi. I had a cycle accident during the Flanders sportive end March and sustained a bad head injury. Everyone from the response car and ambulance, everyone at the hospital, all the doctors were superb and I would like to thank them all. They were all highly professional, courteous, kind and patient. I’m English. Unfortunately I fell off my bike doing Tour of Flanders last Saturday. 7 ribs and broken clavicle. All of the staff were amazing, professional and very friendly especially ITU doctors and nurses. Special thanks the Christine and Carla my Professor of English, Hedi who was on nightshirt and Dr Cooke (not quite right spelling but similar) thank you all for looking after me. I arrived home safely!
Fourth time in this hospital. 1,2 rotting apples can make you hate a place even though the majority of the staff are great hearted and efficient hardworking people.
A negligent and indifferent attitude towards patients. They smile to your face, but in reality, many doctors are completely indifferent and incompetent. In this clinic, patients are guinea pigs. They think they're the masters of fate. What's more, many of the staff know this themselves and turn to specialists in Gent. I don't understand why everyone keeps quiet and tolerates this?! I will never recommend this hospital to anyone! PEOPLE, RUN AWAY FROM THESE IRRESPONSIBLE "DOCTORS"
