You can’t get an appointment because the secretary will hang up on you; she was talking an odd language (might be French) but surprisingly didn’t want to talk English or Dutch, and she didn’t get mean assistant or a secretary which can talk any other language. (She could perfectly understand what I was saying because she kept saying something sounding like No) So I don’t recommend them! Pretty rude!
I woke up on the morning of my 4 pm appointment with a flu. I called to reschedule as soon as they opened, but was told I would have to pay the 40 euro cancellation fee anyway, unless I provided a medical certificate (which I would also have to pay for with my GP, so that's pointless). More fool me for trying to be responsible and not spread my germs around. To be fair, all of this information is very clearly stated on the website and at some length. Honestly, that really should have been a red flag - profiting from cancellation fees rather than repeat business is not confidence inspiring. Caveat emptor, I guess.
I wait a long time for an appointment then the doctor reschedules it 3 days in advance. Okay I make it work because I have been waiting for a long time and need to see someone. Then I am 5 min late so she cancels my whole appointment, AND then wants to charge me for it too. Very rude I get dermatologists are in high demand but it doesn’t mean you can push patients around whatever, I also have a full time job.
Very disappointed experience. I had an appointment with doctor Binet September 2nd, where she sent me to take a test in a hospital( very unpleasant test) and told me to take the next appointment in a month when it was ready. A month later, I took my second appointment to know the result and finally get some treatment of my problem. However one hour before the appointment the secretary called saying they haven’t gotten the result of the test yet so they suggest to cancel our rdv. She told that they will contact me as soon as result is ready. Nobody has contacted me anymore from her cabinet… I tried to get the result from hospital directly to go to a more caring doctor but they said that my doctor has already received the result. Yesterday I received the bill from the hospital for the test that I have never received neither result of nor doctor call. Eventually, 100€ (80€ consultation +20€ exam) for nothing! Apparently the doctor only cares about money.
Not happy with the post-consultation care. I visited for a pigmentation mark on my face and was prescribed a specially made cream. I applied the cream at night as suggested but the next morning the mark & the surrounding area were red in colour. I was worried and called the reception.I was told the doctor would call me back. I waited for 1 hour, called again and explained that I was worried since I didn't know if the reaction was normal or if I was allergic to the cream. The receptionist had an "I don't care" attitude... no sympathy, no kindness, just a cold reply of "Doctor will call after her consultations". Finally, never got a call from the doctor. Also, since the cream was prepared specifically ,there was no name & I couldn't Google for the side effects. Obviously, I will be consulting another doctor. Edited on 11 Aug, after the reply from the doctor saying that she isn't sure if I am really her patient. - Dear Dr. I had an appointment with you on 31st July, under name Dany , at 2.45 pm. It is sad if you or your receptionist denies receiving my calls. Also, yes, I did leave a good review for another dermatologist almost a year ago. So? If the implication is that I'm leaving fake reviews on behalf of another doctor...that's an unfortunate conclusion! Also, if you notice, I leave good reviews for a number of places..i.e I am not a troll who leaves bad reviews just for the fun of it. All the best.
