Dr Lecerf is an excellent dermatologist. She takes the time and patiently listens and examines the patient and then explains very well what the issue might be as well as why she proposes a certain treatment. She is one of the best dermatologists I've been to in the past years and definitely the best and most kind one I saw in the Brussels area.

I had booked an appointment about a year in advance for May 16, 2025. The appointment went more or less okay overall. I received a quote for various treatments, and Ms. Lecerf told me to email her to get an appointment as soon as possible (slots weren't visible on the website), otherwise I would have to wait a very long time. Indeed, the available slots were very far apart, as the dermatologist was very busy. So I followed her advice, considered the quotes, and then sent an email to schedule a new appointment. However, I received an automated message stating that appointments could only be booked through the website, which meant I would have to wait even longer for a slot. I waited more than 15 days before following up, so as not to overload the dermatologist, as she had requested. I also called, but the automated response told me to book an appointment through the website. Unfortunately, I received the same automated message every time. Honestly, I was very disappointed. Ms. Lecerf had advised me to contact her by email to access off-site appointment slots, but in reality, appointments can only be booked through the website. Furthermore, the consultation costs 100 euros, which makes this situation even more frustrating. I would have preferred her to be honest from the start and not give me false hope of getting an appointment more quickly when it wasn't possible. I feel like this is, once again, money wasted and that there's a lack of human connection. We are not just numbers.
After months of struggling with a painful ingrown toenail, and a dramatic procedure with another dermatologist, we finally found a competent dermatologist to provide the appropriate treatment for this ingrown toenail problem. Dr. Lecerf is attentive and gives clear and thorough explanations. She does everything possible to minimize pain and avoid further traumatizing the patient. The procedure yielded excellent results, as the problem is now resolved. In short, we highly recommend her!
It's impossible to make an appointment online even though we're already patients. By phone, an answering machine redirects us to the website. An email put us in touch with the receptionist, who offered us an appointment in seven months or referred us to the dermatology department at Brugman Hospital (whose waiting times aren't much better). I'm forced to look for another doctor for my 4-year-old son, who has red, rough patches that itch and sting because I can't leave him like this for so long without taking action. I'm surprised and disappointed because we've been seeing Dr. Lecerf for almost five years and have always been well received, and his advice and treatments have always been very effective. It's a real shame.
