I spent a month there: Pros: Very good therapists, a good schedule with many therapies that are well-organized. The food is also delicious! The staff is also friendly and understanding; they take the time to talk with you during withdrawal symptoms and/or depression. Cons: They have a strict medication policy and reduce medication very quickly, which disrupted my sleep. I slept poorly for three weeks because they halved the dosage of my regular medication, which I've had to take for years, three times on the day of admission. After finally sleeping well for a week, they completely stopped taking my sleeping medication and I was no longer allowed to take it, without any consultation between the psychiatrist and me. I was told this on the day I was very ill and had slept more than half a day (by a regular nurse), not the psychiatrist himself.
I did have some good therapists, though. It seemed like their services changed every month. At the end of the process, I was told I had to apply for work because they received subsidies for that. I don't consider this professional treatment. You don't say that to a patient. A therapist also rubbed my buttock several times. Definitely not professional. Complaints are automatically dismissed. Still, respect to the good therapists who helped me. You have to sign a stack of privacy papers; you're not allowed to say what happens in the center. Patients are vulnerable, and there's too little opportunity to protect them.
They dig people deeper into the pit and treat them inhumanely, they throw you out like a piece of trash, they try to destroy relationships, they take away your support and confidante, this is not a help center!!!!
Patients are being labeled. Inhumane treatment. Throwing out top performers. 😌
Some of the staff are very unfriendly; they feel like they're better than everyone else. They're entitled to emergency cigarettes and toiletries. These were already empty since Friday; no one takes the time to get them from the store. They just shrug their shoulders and say, "Oh yeah, they're gone." Worst rehab center there is.
