Stay away if you're bipolar. The staff lack the training and resources to treat this condition effectively. Treatment Quality: Multiple experiences have led me to question the integrity of the hospital and its staff. My wife tried her best and made an earnest effort. I'm not sugarcoating—when she's manic, it's obvious when she's being unreasonable. But the treatment here was subpar. Concerns about Professionalism: The psychiatrist assigned to my wife displayed traits of narcissism, which raises questions about her capability to treat patients empathetically. Conclusion: If you're bipolar, this isn't the place for you. You'll find neither the expertise nor the understanding needed for effective treatment.
One star is truly too many, way too many!!!! And they know perfectly well why. A partner who abused me many times was allowed to come whenever he wanted, while my daughter was there... inhumane. Do you call him or go to them? Patient rights are prioritized, even though this is contradicted everywhere... no, never go there!!! I'm truly traumatized, and my ex-partner doesn't understand. Neither do I?
Horrible...never seen anything like it. The Avicenna ward left me even more traumatized than I already was. Hard to forget. I don't feel helped there, and I don't even feel safe...
