An excellent clinic that designs a program based on the invididual's needs, providing them with the skills and tools needed to help support themselves and deal with the problems they face. Good follow-up and support is availble to the patient with the possibility of a short 'herstel' program if things get too difficult. My daughter has improved beyond recognition thanks to the treatment she received here. Patients are treated with respect and staff are supportive, kind yet firm. I would highly recommend this clinic.
Very nice place for mental illness
I went there and had an appointment with the psychiatrist. Because I don't speak Dutch, she brought me a translator who didn't understand me, and I didn't. I told her twice that this is very bad, I don't understand. But she kept talking and completely ignored me. She didn't think I was mentally ill because of the loss of my father and the problems I was going through. When we finished, I told her the session was pointless and that I felt bad now. She said I couldn't do anything and treated me racistly. I went to the shelter to tell her, but they treated me racistly. My condition has worsened today. Thank you for your response, but honestly, I haven't seen a concrete solution or any real engagement with my problem. You're only referring me to an external service, and that feels like a formality to me. I needed direct support and respectful treatment from you, not just a referral.
A homeless friend of mine was admitted for drug addiction, was on the right track, and then you recently kicked him out, causing all the agencies that were trying to put things right to no avail. He's back on the streets, can't find work because he has no address, and can't rent anything because he's unemployed. Would you explain this to me?! Perhaps you should seriously reconsider your motto: "We'll take care of you!"
