I called today because I'm worried about heart problems and wanted advice on what to do and whether I should see a doctor quickly. The doctor refused to give me an opinion without seeing me, said he couldn't see me (which I understand given the wait times; I was just asking for medical advice to know who to contact), and refused to let me explain the situation over the phone. I was promptly sent to the emergency room. So much for empathy.
I met him this afternoon for the first time, and I was impressed by his professionalism, respect for the patient, and kindness. I had an ECG and ultrasound done in his office. The results were conclusive. I highly recommend this cardiologist.
