I've been a regular patient of Dr. Erard for many years. I have to go for an annual checkup. I can tell you that he's very professional and very friendly. I don't recognize the doctor at all as described in the negative reviews.
I consulted this cardiologist in 2017 on the recommendation of my general practitioner for atrial fibrillation. He sent me for a lung scan at St. Jean Hospital; it turned out I had a pulmonary embolism (3 blood clots in my left lung). He called me to tell me which medications I should take and asked to see my cancer file. When I asked him if I needed to see him again, he replied that it wasn't necessary. In other words, no follow-up. Luckily, I was a patient at St. Pierre University Hospital, which took care of me. No, I do not recommend this cardiologist. Unless you want to die quickly.
A top-notch cardiologist. He certainly does a lot from behind his desk, but everyone has their own profession, their own approach, and his is top-notch. I visited him after some unprecedented situations at the University Hospital, and thanks to his efforts, everything was handled very smoothly and quickly. The surgery went smoothly, we received the necessary follow-up, and we're still doing well, so a big thumbs up to Koen Erard and his colleagues.
A very attentive doctor. Friendly and very professional. I had chest pain, and he performed an electrocardiogram (he wasn't with me, as the results were displayed on his computer screen), an echocardiogram, and a stress test. Seven days later, I underwent a coronary angiography at the St. Jean Clinic. He took excellent care of me, and the clinic staff were wonderful. Thank you, Doctor.
I found this doctor to be great! He listens, explains everything well, and is cheerful and reassuring. He does comprehensive exams: asks questions, performs cardiac ultrasound, electrocardiogram, stress test, and Holter monitor. I recommend him!
