They don't speak any Dutch and are easily annoyed. When I wanted to show them the digital ISI+ card from my daughter through MyGov, they didn't accept it and I needed to fill in a paper form? I think they legally HAVE to accept the application! Why do I have to pay 12 EUR on check in? What's the point? Also the confirmation system of these hospitals is a total joke. Apparently I needed to be in another hospital? The confirmation mail said HUB Erasmus but I needed to be in the Koningin Fabiola hospital? This is stated NOWHERE. As a Dutch speaking person from Limburg, it's like entering a different country. And not a nice one.
They first said they do not speak English, but the moment I pointed out that refusing service based on language is not acceptable, they suddenly could communicate in English. Very unprofessional. The instructions for reaching the MRI are useless. In the middle of the night you are left searching for the entrance to with no light and no signs. If you want to drive around the hospital two times trying to guess which dark entrance is the correct one, good luck. Let’s check the instruction: - > Attention, l'accès apres 20 h se fait via le parking radiothérapie suivre la plaque "accès irm nuit" While email says “accès irm nuit”, while the entrance table on site says “mrn soire”, which is not the same and only adds to the confusion. You have to drive to the back of the building and search for a dark sign that says “private parking radiology.” The barrier there is closed, which is extremely confusing and looks like you are not allowed to enter. You then have to use the telecom system to ask them to open the barrier, and only then can you reach the correct area. -> L'examen se déroulera à l'Institut Bordet, au service de radiologie, situé à l'étage -1. Which floor is which floor? How is anyone supposed to know without entering the building first? After 8 it’s not possible to enter the building through main entrance. Overall a confusing, stressful, and poorly designed experience. Not recommended.
It's a mixed score for me hence the 3 stars: dokters are top, nurses go above and beyond, all the staff are generally great and helpful, it's only held back by the management's stupid decisions, first hospital where I have watered down hand soap, it's just bubbly water, no foam, nothing. Interesting cost-cutting in an HOSPITAL (R641). And I haven't mentioned the food by Sodexo, I have no idea how someone can fortify after illnesses or surgery with the served dishes, this noon I had breaded chicken which was steamed, this evening my meal would have been 3 slices off bread and 3 portions off jam. Managed some time ago too ad a soup and a fruit, but I know it's not the usual. Foods crap. And don't get your hopes up on having a mini fridge in the room (2025) there is a community fridge per floor but everything gets nicked.
Hello, do you have a euthanasia service for patients with severe depression? I am from Saudi Arabia. There is no hospital in my country that performs euthanasia.
Dr Lasudry and his staff are wonderful. Never before have I seen so much humanity and empathy in a clinic. Everyone I have met so far has been so kind and generous, from the nurses, to the receptionists, all the way to the doctors. Thank you
