I highly recommend this dental practice. The appointment was completed smoothly. The team welcomed me warmly and conducted a highly professional checkup. While dental procedures are typically not comfortable, the dentist made every effort to ensure my comfort. I will return for future checkups.
This clinic is an absolute disaster. My first visit was for a dental check-up because I had some discomfort in one tooth. They examined me, said it was nothing serious and scheduled a follow-up a month later. By the time I returned, the pain had worsened significantly. They started working on the tooth and found an inflamed nerve. What followed was an emergency extraction under unbearable pain because the anesthesia didn’t work properly. A few days later, I was informed the tooth couldn’t be saved and that I’d need a prosthetic. A prosthetic at 22 years old? That’s beyond absurd. I eventually had to seek help at another dental clinic. Even though some time has passed, I’m still experiencing issues. On my last visit, I complained about another tooth that hurt when pressed. After an examination, the dentist simply said they didn’t know what could be causing it and blamed it on sensitivity. I strongly do not recommend this dental clinic, especially any Syrian dentists (I can’t recall the names).
Today I was treated by narcodont Vasco Goos, and honestly: THANK YOU! During the first consultation, he put me so at ease despite my panic. He took the time to explain everything clearly and calmly. Today, under general anesthesia, he was able to save all but a few teeth, which seemed impossible to me. He even took the time to explain things before the surgery. The result is 1000 times better than I could have imagined. I'm so grateful for what he did for me today!
Check invoices carefully!! They're incorrect. Annual checkup with the dental hygienist (very friendly and good work). The invoice turned out to be €115. When I asked why it was so high, they said an X-ray was being taken, which wasn't the case. The amount to be paid turned out to be €65, not €115. The receptionist was very unfriendly and offered no apology or explanation for what was a major error. I have no idea what they base their invoices on, but luckily I asked my questions and didn't just pay. I won't be going back.
I recently started going to Goos because I always have to go under general anesthesia due to anxiety. I still get my fillings done under general anesthesia, but for other things, I just go to Goos now. There was one person on the phone whose Dutch was broken. He couldn't give me a date until June 1st, while another (who I also saw at the reception desk today) could give me a date for March 13th. This was because he just needed to do the bite, but the other one didn't know it had to be done in between. Otherwise, the reception was good, and I won't go to any other dentist. I even recommended him to my mother, who also has a fear of the dentist. Now I'm going back for my annual checkup. Why is he so good? - He explains everything very well and takes his time. - He shows me how the device works, then does something in your mouth, like blowing wind. If you say it's okay, he only touches the tooth briefly. Okay, and then he continues. He pays very close attention to the patient's needs and fears. - He makes jokes (which is also very good with children). - He can also use nitrous oxide, but I didn't even need it. (I've never had such a good mouth.) (opened at a dentist) When someone asks me for a good dentist, there's only one answer: Vasco Goos!!!
